Salary Range : $56,000 to $98,319 annually based on experience and degree

Founded in 1863 by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV, 'Iolani School is an Episcopal day and boarding school in Honolulu, Hawai'i enrolling approximately 2,200 students on its K-12, 25-acre urban campus.'Iolani School seeks a full-time Upper School Physics teacher for grades 11 and 12 for the 2024-25 school year.
In addition to being an active participant in our vibrant learning community, we are looking for an educator who will inspire and support our students. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and strong communicator (both written and oral), committed to professional growth in their discipline and teaching practice. Teamwork is also essential; the position requires ongoing professional collaboration and coordination with our Physics teaching team.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or higher in Physics or a related discipline, as well as at least 3-5 years of Physics teaching experience and be comfortable designing and executing Physics curricula as part of a teaching team. Candidates also need to embrace the use of instructional technology. The teaching line will primarily include our general Physics course, but, dependent on candidates' experience/expertise, may also include AP Physics 1.
