Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active KY or compact RN license and two years of recent IR experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Vascular Radiology department within a hospital setting
• Day shift, scheduled from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
• 13-week assignment
• Focus on interventional radiology procedures with a vascular patient population
• Perform specialized nursing care during interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic radiology procedures
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity vascular environment
• Must provide explanations for any gaps in work history of three months or more
• Testing modules and required training such as CPI will be assigned and must be completed
• Only AHA certifications are accepted for required life support credentials

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions on file
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required and must not expire during the assignment
• Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of consideration
• Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, which may be completed onsite
• Must be fully vaccinated for flu and COVID-19
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
