Test Automation Architect (medical Device)
Overview
Test Automation Architect (medical Device). Senior-level role with expertise in API & UI automation, Selenium, Java, Rest-assured, JMeter, and experience with TestNG or Playwright. Strong design, problem-solving, and hands-on programming skills. Experience with device integration and embedded system testing is preferred. Health care industry and medical domain experience is a plus. Cloud experience (Azure or AWS), Git, JIRA, and CI/CD familiarity are expected.
Responsibilities
- Lead offshore and onsite teams for both manual and automation programs
- Familiar with creation and maintenance of test agents, pipelines, and troubleshooting build failures
- Hands-on programming in Java and development of automation solutions
- Engage in functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and formal verification (preferably SaMD products)
- Collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment
Qualifications
- 12+ years experience in API & UI automation Selenium, Java, Rest-assured, JMeter
- 8+ years experience in TestNG framework or Playwright
- 5+ years of design experience, strong problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in functional testing, SIT and formal verification (preferably SaMD products)
- Hands-on programming experience
- Experience with device integration and preferably background in embedded systems testing
- Experience leading offshore and onsite teams for manual and automation programs
- 10+ years of experience with Java
- Good understanding of Git (submodules)
- Must have Cloud experience like Azure or AWS
- JIRA exposure is a must
- Bachelors degree, or advanced degree in Computer Science, or MS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; team player and individual contributor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in CI/CD tools and frameworks
- Experience in Health Care industry and medical domain is a plus
