American Traveler is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist with active NC SLP license and NC DPI certification for an in-person role supporting students with communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Work in a school setting serving students with articulation, language, voice, and fluency deficits
- In-person assignment with coordination among students, educational staff, and families
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 30-minute unpaid lunch
- 37.5 billable hours per week during the academic year
- Support students to maximize communicative potential based on age and cognitive level
- Coordinate services and collaborate with school staff and families
- Responsible for Medicaid documentation for all eligible students
- School-based experience or pediatric clinical experience should be noted, including age groups worked with
- Candidates may be required to provide references upon offer acceptance
Requirements
- Active North Carolina SLP license required (if applicable)
- NC Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification required
- Resume required for consideration
- If no school-based experience, a cover letter explaining interest and preparation for working in schools is required
- Documentation for Medicaid billing for eligible students
