CONSTRUCTION SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Construction Senior Estimator in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Construction Senior Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Construction Estimator is $125,000-$150,000.

Construction Senior Estimator Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conceptual estimating skills required - identify items required for complete systems. Ability to identify and include items that may not be shown on construction documents.
• Form and understanding of clients needs, efficient management of the process, timely completion, have an understanding of local logistics/subcontractor/supplier market. BIM/LEED/LEAN understanding and utilization.
• Subcontractor and vendor solicitation.
• Supply Chain procurement plan process
• Accountable for estimate accuracy, risk analysis, data consistency, maintenance of historical data.
• Review of owner contracts, and general and supplementary conditions by the company's risk management group
• Risk reduction - ensure all project estimates are reviewed by management.
• Customer service skills.
• Mentorship and leadership to team members.

Construction Senior Estimator Qualifications:

• Strong employment stability
• A college degree in a construction related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience of estimating in the general construction field is required.
• Proficiency with operating systems and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Experience with onscreen takeoff, Bluebeam, WinEst, Revit and the ability to learn other specific software.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred but Not Necessary

• College Degree Preferred, not mandatory.
