Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required. An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to support students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position, located in Hot Springs, South Dakota, is designed for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities include: Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor behavior strategies. Providing training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques. Collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to behavior services. Qualifications: Current BCBA certification or valid Behavior Intervention Specialist credential. Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, preferably K-12. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple cases effectively within a school environment.
