Job Description

Location: Jerry's Wine and Spirits store

Reports To: Liquor Store Manager

Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Union

Salary: Up to $16.00 per hour

Hours: Varying

• Greet customers courteously and offer them assistance with their purchases
• Accurately and efficiently handle customer purchases at the cash register
• Assist customers with questions or concerns and escalate complex issues to the manager
• The ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, stock shelves and rotate merchandise displays
• Keep the store clean and organized, and assist with regular store maintenance tasks
• Work effectively as part of a team, and support team members in meeting store goals

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a liquor store, with knowledge of wine, beer and food pairings
• 21 years of age or older
• Knowledge of municipal, state and county carding laws is essential
• Proven ability to create dynamic merchandise displays with great accuracy and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a passion for great customer service
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
