This position is responsible for overseeing the management and administration of food and beverage operations of all meal periods in the Circular to include breakfast, lunch, Sunday brunch, and dinner in a Forbes rated restaurant. This position will report directly to the Director of Restaurants with The Hotel Hershey.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Interview, hire, schedule, train and motivate restaurant staff. Ensure that all pre and post service line ups are executed daily and that monthly department meetings are held for all employees.*
Forecast covers, revenue and expenses for all meal periods and control wage and supply costs.*
Provide hands-on leadership on the floor, monitoring service, guest satisfaction, and correct flow of service in the restaurant.*
Complete payroll information and monitor labor reports.
Maintain safety, health and sanitation standards, and integrity of all food products on all buffets.*
Oversee dining reservations, cashiers and hosts, open table configuration, and ensure maximum capacity for all meal periods.*
Oversee Circular wine and mixology program, including making recommendations to Beverage Manager of wines for the Circular wine list. Maintain inventory on Uptown Network iPad system.*
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older.
Completion of high school or GED
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Industry Experience - Food & Beverage
Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience.
Post-Employment - Certifications in ServSafe Allergen, ServSafe Manager, and RAMP.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
Experience working in fine dining preferred
Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Thorough and demonstrable knowledge of Food & Beverage service.
Highly proficient in computer programs and systems utilized by the company and shows the ability to adapt, learn and become proficient in new computer systems, software and technology.
Ability to interact in a welcoming and approachable manner with all guests and team members.
Communicate effectively to ensure a supportive and inclusive team of professionals.
