Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (Skilled Nursing)

Location:  Lawton, OK

Shift Notes : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8 Hour Days)

Sign-On Bonus: $6,000

Relocation Bonus: $2,000 (Specific conditions apply for eligibility)

Salary Range: $24.50 - $27.56/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a skilled nursing facility works under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients. This role involves utilizing therapeutic modalities and exercises as per approved treatment plans, specifically tailored to meet the medical needs of patients ranging from infants to the geriatric population.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic procedures and exercises according to the patient's specific needs and therapist's instructions.
• Maintain documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.
• Help keep the physical therapy department organized and orderly.
• Understand and operate within the limitations prescribed as an assistant.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient demographic, including a wide age range and various physical conditions.
