Alden Short, Inc., a family-owned property management company in the Dallas area has an Immediate Need for an experienced Residential Home Repair Maintenance Technician - we are urgently seeking to add 1 new member to our team ! The successful candidate will be responsible for completing home repair/remodeling work orders and other required tasks on single family residences. We are seeking an individual with Plumbing, HVAC certification and general home maintenance repair skills . Applicants must have working knowledge of Home or Apartment repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Complete home repair work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of home repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

​ Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in home repairs/remodeling maintenance
• Familiarity with home construction maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload - must be able to lift 50# or more.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Must be computer-literate w/MS Office experience - familiarity w/ Yardi is a plus
• Must have a working Truck or Van .
• Pay Dependent on skills and performance
• Must be able to work the occasional evening and weekend on a rotating basis for on-call work orders
