Job Description
Position OpeningAdult Services Library Assistant Responsibilities: Provides customer service, registering patrons, checking materials out, and helping patrons locate materials; enters patron application data into the library’s circulation software; does shelving, monthly housekeeping, and other assigned tasks.Hours : 14.50- 22.50 hours/week
Shift flexibility required: Mondays: 8:30 AM—12:00 PM
Tuesdays: 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM
Thursday: 12:30 PM-5:00 PM
Friday: 9:30 AM-1:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays:(9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Hourly Wage : $13.26/hour
Benefits: Paid Time Off: Prorated to hours worked
Desired Minimum Training and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. Excellent customer service skills and experience working with various computer software are required.
