The Position The Vermont Country Store is currently seeking an IT Manager to join our Technology and Business Solutions Team. This role reports to the Head of Technology and oversees a wide range of information technology systems and applications including the company's enterprise system, website, and various specialized applications and infrastructure throughout the company. The IT Manager will also supervise and direct a team of technical business analysts and other IT resources to accomplish their goals. Location: 5650 Main Street, Manchester Center, Vermont 05255 A Sampling of What You'll Do Plan and organize the ever-evolving data and business system architecture to support company goals. Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the company to identify current and future technology related needs of the business. Design, develop, and enhance interfaces between business applications. Constantly be on the lookout for cost saving opportunities by leveraging technology to save time or reduce manual tasks. Help manage and structure data throughout the company for analysis and reporting. Constantly collaborate with other IT team members to improve the technical services provided to the company. Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to optimize solutions through a combination of technical and business process problem solving. Oversee vendors performing software development tasks on behalf of the IT department. Troubleshoot operational issues as they arise, putting in place changes to prevent them from happening in the future. Who We're Looking For Energetic self-starter that can effectively and collaboratively lead a team and works independently as well leading by example. Combination of high creativity to drive innovation and high analytical skills to drive business performance. A leader with a passion for planning, problem solving, and project execution. Detail oriented with consistent and timely follow through.
