Busy law firm in midtown is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Immigration Paralegal. This person will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the law firm, including carrying out administrative services, providing support to the legal team and ensuring that the firm remains in compliance with state legal regulations. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. About the job: Case processing issues, assisting with the review of cases. Oversee status of cases. Work with local counsel and immigration providers in other countries to support clients’ global transfers. PERM H-1B Research work permit and visa requirements and process in other countries, as necessary. Support U.S. consular practice for nonimmigrant visa applications: review DS-160s, research consulate-specific requirements, and prepare detailed instructions for visa applicants. About you: Two-year degree or equivalent certification 2+ years’ working experience as a paralegal with Business Immigration exposure Knowledge of MS Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision Fantastic opportunity to work with high powered attorneys in a supportive atmosphere.
