This is a sales position that reports directly to the Manager or Director of Sales. This position is responsible for promoting the company’s products and services, and for building relationships designated accounts. The focus is to help FreshPoint customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company via instore stocking and replenishment. Duties and Responsibilities include growing customer and FreshPoint Sales, Volume and profit YOY by being in stock of right items for customer demand; stocking displays in a manner compliant with customers defined schematics with quality product and removing freshness-dated and damaged products from displays prior to leaving section and or store; optimizing consumer engagement on shelf; performing basic duties in relation to new and existing merchandise, including price changes, tagging, ad set and shelfing arrangements; cleaning fixtures when stocking or dressing down department to ensure pleasing customer experience; enhancing partnership with retailer by maintaining client relationships through visits with store employees, department, and store managers; collaborating with store leadership on product displays; overseeing the ordering of all products supplied by FreshPoint to ensure enough product is displayed at the store or held in backstock area to meet consumer demand until next order is delivered and arranging for credit for damaged products; order input and conflict resolution by setting up order in Customer systems and solving issues with billing, receiving and scanning at customer level. Education required is High School Diploma. Preferred experience is 2 years retail merchandising experience with valid driver’s license. Technical skills include stocking product on shelves, increasing product display space, improving shelf positioning of FreshPoint products, removing freshness-dated and damaged products, understanding individual store plans to help with product re-sets, maintaining client relationships, collaborating with team members on display of products, maintaining inventory, setting up displays for special promotions, observing and reporting on pricing and display of competitors’ products, recording inventory, hours, and online surveys on computer system. Physical demands include ability to conduct physical work, often lifting to 50 pounds. Travel requirements include daily travel to assigned stores within territory. Work environment is inside retail store.
