CURRICULUM DEVELOPERS (BAMC-2024-21236):

Bowhead seeks Curriculum Developers to support the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, TX. The Curriculum Developers will be tasked with providing expertise in writing courseware materials, develop courseware format guidelines, and reviewing and maintaining accurate content for training within a medical center at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Essential functions will include:

• Developing and writing courseware format, guidelines, and materials to be used for hospital-wide education.
• Reviewing training data and entering it into the Digital Training Management System (DTMS), and the Defense Manpower and Human Resources System (DMHRSI).
• Coordinating internally while maintaining data for accuracy to ensure all education and training is done as needed for all military, civilian, contract, and volunteer personnel.
• Reviewing materials to ensure all lessons are up-to-date and in compliance with established curriculum.
• Will be called upon to create and present reports using Sequential Query Language (SQL) to brief chiefs and command groups as well as any other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required at a minimum in addition to at least four (4+) years experience in an education/curriculum development role.
• Prior experience in training and building lesson plans in a government and/or hospital setting highly desired.
• Intermediate level computer/PC knowledge required including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven office environment where privacy and confidentiality is critical while working alone and in teams to ensure mission success.
• Must possess a valid State issued drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and provide proof of TDAP and Influenza vaccinations prior to employment and update as required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security clearance requirements however qualified candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check and be able to gain access to the facility. Bowhead retains the right to change these requirements due to contractual requirements. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is a requirement for this location.
