Salary:

Carrier Sourcing Representatives will be responsible for working with carriers via phone and email to ensure consistent load coverage. Additionally, this role will collaborate with Carrier Sales and Customer Sales reps to bring cost-effective strategies and elevated service to our customers' shipping/receiving departments. This position will showcase strong customer service skills towards customers and carriers that may need assistance after hours with shipments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Heavy touchpoints with carriers via phone and email to work towards consistent load coverage
• Be assigned a set amount of freight/lanes to begin establishing reliable and consistent carrier networks around
• Build density through all our freight matching tools. Encourage carriers to engage and/or establish processes that make our freight as frictionless as possible.

• Work with customer and pricing teams to strategize projects as well as RFPs
• Collaborate with all of Carrier Sales to ensure accurate and on-time updates
• Handle escalated issues as needed
• Collaborate with operations leadership on where continuous improvement can be made.
• Obtaining shipment updates from contractors
• High-volume phone and email outreach
• Negotiating rates with contractors (carrier sales)
• Providing updates and solutions to team members
• General Data Entry
