At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Los Angeles, CA ! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Los Angeles, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles, CA
• Schedule: 1 session a week for 2 hours
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong instructional skills in both languages.
• Experience working with high school students with learning disabilities.
• Ability to tutor multiple subjects at the high school level, including science, math, language arts, and foreign language.
• Patient, empathetic, and skilled at building positive student relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide structured, individualized tutoring in Biology, Geometry, Developmental Math, Italian, and English Language Arts.
• Build rapport and establish trust to encourage student engagement and open communication.
• Develop strategies to help the student manage academic frustration and build confidence.
• Incorporate the student’s interest in fitness and healthy living to enhance motivation during lessons.
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and educational staff to align support with academic goals.
