Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for an AWS Solutions Architect to work on a 12-month + contract position working on a hybrid basis in Charlotte, NC. The pay rate is in the $70/hour to $73/hour w-2 range. This position is available for W-2 only and operates on a hybrid schedule, working onsite twice weekly. Responsibilities of the AWS Solutions Architect:

• Accelerate the ability to build and migrate applications and workloads to AWS.
• Work with a team of Digital Solution architects and Centers of Practice/Excellence (CoP/CoE) within the client.
• Architect and design artifacts across Cloud, Web, Mobile, AI, API, SaaS, and COTS products.
• Create technical designs in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Application Product teams, and Infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during the features' development, testing, and delivery phases.

Requirements for the AWS Solutions Architect:

• 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering and/or Architecture
• Experience helping product teams through cloud migrations using AWS technologies such as Terraform, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena, EC2, EKS, and EMR.
• Strong background in architecting complex Big Data and AI/ML analytics product migrations to the cloud (AWS).
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and advising teams on cloud migration projects
• Expertise in multiple SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
