LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact leadership role offering visibility across operations and finance, exposure to global teams, and significant opportunities for career growth. You will lead a team, manage cost and property accounting processes, and provide strategic insights that drive operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering development and career growth.

• Oversee cost accounting and property accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Manage monthly close activities, including analysis of material and manufacturing variances.

• Develop and monitor costing policies and procedures; ensure consistency across global operations.

• Coordinate annual standard labor and overhead rate development with plant controllers.

• Drive SOX compliance and maintain strong internal controls.

• Support acquisition accounting, plant consolidations, and transition projects.

• Collaborate with global finance teams and leverage shared services and capability centers.

• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved forecasting.

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, including cost accounting or plant controllership.

• Manufacturing industry experience required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.

Work Environment

• Full-time position with a hybrid schedule (typically 4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
