Traveling Electrician

What You’ll Do:
• Lead and execute electrical installations, including panel changeouts, circuit wiring, and conduit installations for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Provide subject matter expertise on electrical best practices, safety compliance, and cost-saving measures for job sites.
• Work directly in the field, performing hands-on electrician work in environments up to 480V three-phase power systems.
• Assess job sites and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless execution of electrical installations.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Travel extensively (80% of the time) across the southeastern U.S., including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.
• Serve as a key resource for licensing requirements related to general contractor and electrical certifications.
What You Bring:
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License (must be eligible for multiple state
certifications).
• Extensive knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems and subcontracting processes.
• Experience working with conduit-type buildings and installations up to 480V three-phase power.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to implement innovative electrical solutions.
• Ability to travel extensively across the southeastern U.S. for on-site work.
• Excellent communication skills to relay technical information effectively.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
