Froedtert Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Vascular Access for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Job Description & Requirements Title: RN - Vascular Access
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract : 13 weeks
Schedule : Nights - 10 hour shifts, 2100-0700, Monday-Sunday (every other week) One week “on,” one week “off”
Requirements : 2+ years experience as an RN | BLS required | Epic experience required | Travel experience Required
Top qualifications:
- Vascular Access Nurse experience REQUIRED
- Must be competent in USG-PIV placement, PICC placement with ECG technology
Also: strong interpersonal skills to empathetically manage multi-faceted situations, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across multiple services, critical thinking skills to incorporate empirical knowledge of vascular access with an understanding of various clinical diagnoses and scenarios to make appropriate decisions.
Job Summary:
The Vascular Access Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients according to Froedtert Hospital's nursing professional practice model.
Required Skills & Experience:
-A minimum of two (2) years of recent direct patient care as a registered nurse in a medical/surgical or critical care clinical setting.

-Associates degree in nursing.
Preferred Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
