Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring EPIC experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a 24-bed PACU within a hospital setting
• Care primarily for patients recovering from orthopedic and general surgeries
• 10-hour day shifts, four shifts per week
• Call is required; further details will be discussed during the interview
• Floating is required, with a high possibility of floating to sister campuses
• EMR system used is EPIC
• Must be flexible and willing to float between sister campuses as needed
• All scheduled time off requests must be submitted prior to offer and will not be considered afterward
• Remote orientation starts on Friday, with an in-person badge/ID session at the facility; must be available locally on orientation day
• Travelers are integrated into the team and expected to function as core staff
• No block scheduling requests will be considered

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active FL or compact RN license in hand
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience is required, including ICU or ER experience
• Degree from an accredited nursing program or at least 5 years of RN experience
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred
• Must meet a strict 50-mile radius rule from the facility
