Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Long Term Care to join our team on a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents and demonstrate flexibility to work rotating shifts, including every weekend . The position offers 40 hours per week .

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care environment
• Complete assessments, documentation, and care plans in accordance with standards
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Utilize EMR tools (experience with Point Click preferred)

Requirements

• Active and current Hawaii RN license (required prior to contract start)
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Ability and willingness to work every weekend and rotating shifts
• Experience in long-term care settings strongly preferred

Additional Notes

• Holiday pay is based on shift start time :
  • If the shift begins on the holiday, the entire shift is paid at holiday rate.
  • If the shift begins prior and runs into the holiday, standard rate applies.
• Compliance requirements differ from other statewide systems and may not require pre-contract approval processes before staffing.
