Registered Nurse – Clinic (Primary Care)

 

Facility: APG - Primary Care (899), BIDHC - Chestnut Hill
Location: 464 Hillside Ave, Suite 211, Needham, MA 02494
Start Date: October 6, 2025
End Date: April 4, 2026 (13-week assignment)
Shift: Day Shift (Start time: 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8-hour shifts/week
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Unit: BIDHC - Chestnut Hill The Street (CC_7039_52020)

 

Position Overview:

Busy internal medicine primary care practice seeking an experienced clinic RN to provide administrative and limited direct patient care support. This position focuses heavily on triaging calls, completing prior authorizations, providing patient education, and handling other clerical nursing duties. Minimal bedside care involved.

Certifications & Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license – Required at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• Flu Vaccine – Required (No declinations accepted)
• COVID-19 Vaccine – Not specified
• Local Candidates Only – Required
• Former BI Employees: Cannot have worked (perm, PRN, or travel) at any Beth Israel facility in the past 6 months

Experience Required:

• Outpatient/Primary Care RN experience – Preferred
• Prior experience with call triage and administrative nursing – Strongly Preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Skills & Competencies:

• Call triage and patient phone support
• Prior authorizations and insurance coordination
• Patient education
• EMR documentation (specific system not listed)
• Administrative RN responsibilities in outpatient setting
