Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in San Pedro, California.

🏥 Travel RN Case Manager (California Experience Required)

 

Job Type: Travel Contract
Shift: Days – 5x8-Hour Shifts (08:00–16:30)
Start Date: September 8, 2025
Location: California (specific facility not listed)

 

🧾 Key Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekend coverage expected
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
• Call: Not required
• Float: Required to float between facilities within the state
• Orientation Hours: 40
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

✅ Must-Have Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN Case Management experience
  • California Case Management experience REQUIRED
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Acute care experience REQUIRED : MS, MS/Tele, ICU, some ER
• Charting: Epic (Required)
• Certifications: None listed explicitly (assumed current RN license + BLS minimum)

⚠️ Hard Requirements ("Hardstops") – Candidate Must Have:

• California Case Management experience
• Care Coordination, Discharge Planning, Utilization Review
• InterQual Criteria experience (Admission Criteria)
• Epic EMR experience

• Unit: Case Management
• Beds: 82
• Daily Census: 50–55 patients
• Weekday Caseload: ~15 patients
• Weekend Caseload: Higher depending on census
• Support Services: Interpretation & Social Services
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

🧩 Compliance Requirements

(Tier 3 Travel Compliance)
Before review, the following must be submitted:

• Candidate’s interview availability
• Confirmed DOB and full SSN in Connect
• Completed Skills Checklist
• 2 Supervisory References from last 3 years (1 year total)

Compliance Deadline:
Wednesday at 12:00 PM EST prior to start date

Time Off (RTO):

• Max 7 days RTO offered by both Aya and client
• Additional RTO may delay the offer
• No additional RTO accepted post-submission

📱 Device Policy

• If a phone/pager is not provided, agency reimburses up to $50/month for work-related phone use.

🧠 Training & Modules

• Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours (self-reported)
• Required pre-start and annually
• Modules over 20 hours require PM approval
• Completion tracked in Workramp transcripts
