Tool & Mold Design Engineer (80-95K)

Due to retirement, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Tool & Mold Design Engineer to work for a prestigious Plastics Injection Molding Manufacturer in the Central, New York area.

This is a 1st shift, Direct Hire Opportunity.

Your Role :

• Design new and revise existing tools and molds for manufacturing.
• Use 3D modeling software to design sketches, layouts, and plans.
• Develop specifications and select raw materials and components.
• Communicate with Tool Room to repair dies, molds, and tools.

Education and Experience : 

• BS in Engineering or Journeyman Toolmaker Certificate.  
• 5+ years of experience designing tools and molds for use in plastics injection molding manufacturing. 
• Proficient with CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, MasterCAM or related).
