**LEAD THE FUTURE OF AEROSPACE TESTING - BECOME A TEST CONDUCTOR** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **Test Conductor** to support a world-leading aerospace innovator at **Edwards AFB, CA** . This role is based on-site at the **Aerospace Test Site (NATS)** , located within the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Edwards Air Force Base. Expect exciting hands-on work, a tight-knit team environment, and opportunities to drive meaningful breakthroughs. **What You'll Do** + Lead test activities, serving as the primary coordinator between engineering, operations, and support teams. + Develop, review, and approve test procedures, work instructions, checklists, and readiness documentation. + Conduct pre-test readiness assessments to ensure all personnel, equipment, and resources meet operational and safety standards. + Direct teams during live test operations, ensuring adherence to procedures, schedules, and safety protocols. + Monitor and interpret real-time test data, identify anomalies, and lead troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed. + Maintain detailed logs and prepare comprehensive test reports summarizing results and findings. + Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are testable and to validate performance. + Support safety initiatives, including hazard assessments and risk reviews. + Recommend process improvements to enhance test efficiency and technical rigor. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree + **5 years** of experience in mechanical hardware integration/test/assembly **OR** Master's degree + **3 years** of experience **OR** High school diploma/GED + **9 years** of experience + Experience developing and executing test procedures, analyzing data, and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems + Strong knowledge of test methodologies, instrumentation, and safety protocols + Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to produce technical documentation + Ability to work in environments requiring **Level B PPE** and in test settings such as clean rooms, outdoor facilities, or labs + Valid driver's license + **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.** + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
