Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Seasonal Tax Preparer to support a professional tax and accounting office in the Maryland Heights, MO area. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with numbers, helping clients, and learning more about personal income tax preparation in a supportive office environment. Candidates with prior experience, as well as entry-level applicants and CPA/EA candidates , are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with preparing individual tax returns in accordance with IRS regulations
• Review client information and documents for accuracy and completeness
• Enter financial data into tax preparation software systems
• Communicate with clients to clarify documentation or request additional details
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping for all client files

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial information
• Ability to learn basic tax preparation processes (training provided if needed)
• Professional communication skills when working with clients and team members
• Comfortable using computers, data entry, and tax-related software
