Job Description
Essential Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:Maintains a caseload as assigned and in accordance with COMAR and CARF regulations.Ensures incoming clients have a complete psychosocial history and comprehensive assessment and interpretative summary within five (5) days of admission.Completes, with team participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan within three (3) days of admission.Prepares, with team and client participation, a Comprehensive Treatment Plan for all patients within thirty (30) days of admission.Completes a Treatment Plan Update every thirty (30) days following the completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan.Prepares an aftercare plan for all patients completing the program or being discharged for other reasons.Provides follow-up care and contact with each discharged patient.Provides individual addiction counseling according to the Comprehensive Treatment Plan.Provides coordination of care for Health Home services, according to the Treatment Plan.Perform all assigned weekly duties within each scheduled work week.Perform all other duties as assigned by designated direct Supervisor/Manager or Director. Required Qualifications, Experience & EducationMaintain a professional approach and positive attitude toward clients, staff and visitors at all times.Required Maryland license under CAC-AD; CSC-AD; or hold Trainee status from the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or as a licensed addiction counselor.Must have a minimum of three to five (3 - 5) years experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields.Maintain a compassionate, caring demeanor and possess the ability to build impactful rapport with clients.Must be able to demonstrate excellent written, verbal communication and time management skills.
