Job Description
The Spa Director for Jupiter Beach Resort, Opal Spa a Corporate Branded Spa is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a specific spa location within the corporate brand. This includes ensuring adherence to brand standards, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and managing a team of spa professionals. The Spa Director plays a vital role in upholding the brand's reputation and ensuring consistent quality at their designated spa.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring compliance with the corporate brand's standards, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional guest, member and/or resident experiences, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets through effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Manage and lead a team of spa professionals, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth among spa staff.
- Implement the corporate brand's marketing and promotional initiatives at the spa location to increase awareness and attract new clients.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Spa Division to implement brand initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate strategies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the spa's financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in accordance with the brand's guidelines and local regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the spa remains competitive and innovative.
- Implement training and development programs for spa staff to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation for the spa location.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to ensure smooth spa operations.
- Act as a brand ambassador by representing the corporate spa brand in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field and/or Advanced certifications in spa management are required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in spa management, preferably within a corporate branded spa or luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets.
- In-depth knowledge of spa operations, customer service, and industry trends.
- Excellent understanding of financial management, budgeting, and business analytics.
- Ability to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team of spa professionals.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work outside regular office hours and travel occasionally, as required.
- Proficiency in spa management software and technology.
Salary:
