The ideal candidate will have experience with Biesse Skipper CNC machines and will be responsible for producing high-quality components in a fast-paced production environment./ppKey Responsibilities:/ppSet up, program, and operate Skipper CNC machines to perform precise cuts, bores, and routings based on technical drawings or digital files./ppInterpret blueprints, CAD files, and work orders to ensure proper specifications and tolerances are met./ppLoad raw materials and position them accurately for machining./ppConduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance./ppInspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify quality and accuracy./ppMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards./ppRecord production data and report any deviations or equipment issues to supervisors./ppCollaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines./ppQualifications:/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation preferred./pp13 years of experience operating a Skipper CNC or similar vertical CNC machine./ppFamiliarity with CNC software (such as BiesseWorks or bSolid) is a strong plus./ppAbility to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments./ppMechanical aptitude and attention to detail./ppAbility to lift materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods./ppStrong communication and teamwork skills./ppPerform cross training on other equipment as needed./ppPreferred Experience:/ppExperience working with wood-based materials or in a furniture/cabinet manufacturing setting./ppKnowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices./ppWhy Clayton?/ppFull-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
