				  Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Lenexa, Kansas 
 Scope Of Responsibility  The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top-tier talent aligned with organizational goals and culture. This role involves collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand specific business needs, proactively sourcing and building candidate pipelines, and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. This role also manages relationships with external recruitment agencies and contributes to employer branding and onboarding initiatives. 
 Supervisory Responsibilities    -  May have direct reports and/or oversight of projects and initiatives. 
 -  Act as a leader, mentor and coach to lower-level staff, providing guidance and training. 
 -  Mentor others in embodying GBAs values, proactively aligning efforts with the companys vision.  
 
 Essential Functions   -  Engage in full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level technical and professional roles across various departments, partnering with hiring managers to understand business objectives, role requirements, and candidate profiles. 
 -  Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies utilizing diverse channels, including networking, social media, internet searches, cold calling, employee referrals, campus recruiting, industry events, and more. 
 -  Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviewing, and assessment to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational values, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers and acting as a liaison throughout the selection process. 
 -  Manage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including candidate tracking, interview scheduling, and maintaining up-to-date job postings. 
 -  Create compelling and informative job advertisements that accurately reflect position requirements and engage potential candidates. 
 -  Engage with external recruiting agencies for hard-to-fill positions to effectively meet business needs. 
 -  Educate and coach hiring staff on behavioral interviewing techniques and best practices; develop training materials and programs in collaboration with the team as needed. 
 -  Partner with corporate marketing to identify recruitment strategy to promote strong employer branding through creative collateral, presentations, social media content, and other initiatives. 
 -  Ensure a smooth transition for new hires to support employee integration and retention. 
 -  Other duties as assigned.  
 
 Education & Experience   -  Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field AND 5+ years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 -  Experience recruiting within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, preferred. 
 -  Experience working with virtual meeting platforms.  
 
 Technical Skills & Abilities   -  Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences, from employees to leadership. 
 -  Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple recruitment tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
 -  Ability to manage and resolve complex talent acquisition issues. 
 -  Expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives. 
 -  Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee and drive HR programs and initiatives from inception to completion, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. 
 -  Expertise in HR systems and databases, with advanced analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, provide strategic insights to leadership, and train others on system usage. 
 -  Ability to mentor others on the team to ensure projects and/or goals are accomplished.  
 
 Physical Requirements   -  Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time. 
 -  Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.  
 
 Travel  Occasional travel may be required (less than 5%), including potential attendance at industry events and meetings.
