Job Description

Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex, high-impact projects, collaborating with in-house departments, regulators, and government agencies to ensure successful execution and compliance. Requires proven experience managing large-scale projects with cross-functional coordination and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management (planning, execution, monitoring, closure) aligning with organizational goals
• Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, operations, legal, finance) to define scope and resources
• Serve as primary contact for regulators and government agencies to secure approvals
• Develop project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and schedules
• Facilitate communication between teams and external partners
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to safety, industry, and environmental standards
• Provide status updates to leadership
• Mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of project management experience with large-scale projects
• Utility/energy/infrastructure sector experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or PMP a plus)
• PMP certification preferred
• Agile/Scrum experience desirable
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA)
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of utility regulations an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electric utility projects (grid modernization, transmission, distribution)
• Managed budgets over $5M+ and teams of 10+

The expected salary range for this position is between $67,500 to $1,30,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
