We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This is a pivotal role that will oversee all aspects of electrical installations for our healthcare and hospital projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the management of electrical construction operations, with a particular emphasis on healthcare facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on our company's projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in our electrical work.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all electrical construction activities for airport and aviation projects.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of electrical subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Develop and implement project schedules and work plans in collaboration with the project team.
- Ensure all electrical installations are completed in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and quality control measures are being adhered to.
- Manage and resolve any issues, conflicts or discrepancies that arise in the field.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and field workers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical construction activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing electrical construction operations for airport and aviation projects.
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local electrical regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid state electrician license.
- OSHA safety certification is desirable.
