Job Description

Description Our client, in the non-profit industry, is in need for a Senior Accountant to focus on their Grants & Contracts! This would be a temp-to-hire opportunity, where the client tends to convert the right candidate before the 3rd month. The ideal candidate will have strong background in accounting, MS Excel, and someone who is self-motivated. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and analyze account reconciliations and journal entries for assigned accounts. + Create monthly invoices for contracts/grants, ensuring expenses are budgeted and supported by documentation. + Assist with accounts payable and receivable data entry as needed. + Conduct technical accounting research as required. + Complete fiscal audits for assigned contracts and grants upon request. + Support the Sr. Director of Finance and Sr. VP of Finance with special projects. Requirements + At least 3 years of accounting experience. + 2-3 years of experience in organizations with $100M+ annual revenue. + Advanced knowledge of business and accounting processes. + Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. + Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
