As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a government location. You will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to various situations with professionalism and care. Your duties will include monitoring access points, assisting with badge and access control procedures, and delivering outstanding customer service to all individuals you encounter. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
