Watch our video to see our team build top-of-the-line skid steers and compact track loaders.** **Shift Schedule:** **3rd Shift:** Monday night - Friday morning 7:30 PM - 5:30 AM, Overtime as business needs require **3rd Shift Starting Pay:** $29.38/hour (includes 8% shift premium) **As a Robot Technician at Caterpillar, you will:** + Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, AGVs and AGCs including mechanical, electrical, and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues. + Programming: Write, modify, and debug Fanuc robot programs to meet production requirements and improve efficiency. + Repairs: Work with the maintenance team to conduct repairs on Fanuc robots and AGVs as needed, including replacing parts and components. + Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications. + Collaboration: Work closely with MEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. + Training: Provide basic operation/troubleshoot training to line technicians, Planners and MEs. + Other: Performs other tasks as needed. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. + Ability to perform repetitive operations. + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. **Basic Requirements:** + Must include a resume to be considered. + Intermediate proficiency computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Ability to learn other programs as needed for daily operations. + Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. + Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts. + Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail when performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation. + Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. **Top Candidates will also have:** + Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with a focus on robotics, automation, and mechatronics. + Minimum of AS in Engineering, Computer or Technical Discipline. + Good Understanding of basic Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic principles. + Minimum of 1 year of Fanuc robot Programming and operation. + AGV Programming and experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Computer Programming and Use **Additional Information:** + Resumes are **required** .
