Job Description

A dynamic company is looking for a skilled Civil Project Engineer to manage various aspects of project engineering, including interactions with clients and agencies. This role involves overseeing technical elements of civil engineering projects such as site plan development, grading, street design, sewer design, and water design. The engineer will work closely with the project manager to provide administrative and problem-solving support. Key responsibilities include design, analysis, and preparation of construction plans with assistance from a designer and drafter, along with technical writing for reports and correspondence. Qualifications: ~5+ years of experience in civil engineering ~ Strong work ethic and motivation ~ P.E. registration required ~ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Responsibilities: Assist the Civil Project Manager in preparing proposal budgets and fees Coordinate with clients to understand project specifics, requirements, and schedules Perform base design to ensure code compliance and fundamental engineering Direct sub-consultants as necessary Guide designers in document preparation Review and respond to comments from agencies and owners Administer project construction (coordinate with General Contractor, respond to RFIs, review submittals, prepare clarification drawings, etc.) Conduct general site observation visits Benefits: ~401(K) with company discretionary contributions ~ Health, Dental, and Vision insurance available ~ Health Savings Account ~ Paid Time Off & Holidays
