Sr Product Owner/Scrum Master Large Financial Client 3x onsite in Seattle WA 12+ months, with potential to convert to FTE On a W2 basis ONLY (no corp to corp or 1099) Pay: $80-$83hr W2 Position Summary Looking for strong talent to join our team as the product owner, coordinate AuthHub development team with the clients and line of business to successfully deliver the projects on time. Responsible for maximizing the value for a product. Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment. Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain. With some guidance, creates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain. Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems. Creates and prioritizes work for one team. Learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams. With some guidance, creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog. Refines stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints. Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business. Individual contributor. Required Skills Primary Skill: Agile tools (Jira) 5+ years relevant work experience with business and technology projects including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts Knowledge of project tools (JIRA experience preferred) Experience with and knowledge of Agile project management methodology Experience participating/driving PI Product Increment - planning Process design oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and in Visio Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability Must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive especially under pressure Critical thinker and risk minded Preferred Skills Scrum Master experience Agile SAFE certification Document management or workflow experience Apex Systems
