What You Will Do: As a Podcast Producer for Vendetta Sports Media, you will help with the production of podcasts. You need to be familiar with publishing audio to platforms such as [specific platforms]. It is recommended, but not necessary, to know how to edit audio. Your primary job will be working with the podcasts in the post-production stage. We highly encourage you to try producing your own podcast through our platform. This can include but is not limited to conducting interviews and doing sports recaps. You are also encouraged to try other aspects of journalism while you are with Vendetta Sports Media. Other beats you can explore include video and writing. However, your primary work will be producing podcasts. Learning Objective: While you are with Vendetta Sports Media, we want you to learn how to produce podcast content on a consistent basis. We want to push you to be creative with your own journalistic style of podcasting, writing, or any other beat. You will also learn how to coordinate with other team members effectively. Qualifications: We are looking for ambitious candidates who can self-start articles or projects. Ability to meet deadlines. Works well with others and has strong communication skills. Keen sense of grammar, language, and spelling. Ability to promote the Vendetta Sports Media work of yourself and others on social media. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing English, Journalism, Mass Media, or a similar field. Recommended Skills: Familiar with WordPress and can understand/learn SEO optimization.
