Job Description
Job Summary:
Du-West Services is in search of Plumbing Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance operations. This role involves managing a team of plumbers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, quality workmanship, and providing technical support for plumbing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist with coordinating the activities of plumbers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all plumbing work is performed in accordance with local codes and safety regulations.
- Inspect plumbing systems and installations to identify issues and ensure quality workmanship.
- Provide technical guidance and support to plumbers during installation and repair projects.
- Collaborate with dispatcher, project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain inventory of plumbing materials and equipment, ordering supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safe work practices among the team.
- Respond to plumbing emergencies and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Prepare reports on plumbing operations, including work completed and any issues encountered.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a plumber, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid plumbing license and other relevant certifications.
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and technology.
