Our NPs have autonomy to run their own practice with collaborator and organizational support, flexibility with scheduling, work life balance, exceptional tools, training, and resources, evidence-based guidelines and access to assessment and treatment planning tools to elevate and support the continuity of care for patients, practicing at the top of their clinical license with the support of our clinical care team, and patient charting and follow up completed in the clinic during the shift with no taking work home. Responsibilities include providing primary and family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients; performing administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment; handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations; speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices; completing diagnostic tests; coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care; encouraging patients to become active participants in their own healthcare through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management. Required qualifications include providing holistic, evidenced-based care including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and safer sex practices; ordering and administering immunizations and injections; minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent; completing the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment; proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish depending on the market; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; passing a FIT test and wearing a respirator mask when required. Preferred qualifications include prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic if less than 1 year of licensed provider experience and Epic experience. Education required is a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
