Job Title: Night Dispatcher – Heavy Duty Fleet Operations

Type: Perm

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Clifton NJ - On-site Monday–Friday | Remote Saturdays

Schedule: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Compensation: ~$75,000 base (some flexibility based on experience)

Position Overview

Seeking a reliable and highly communicative Night Dispatcher to manage overnight fueling operations for heavy-duty fleets. This role is critical to ensuring trucks are efficiently routed, monitored, and supported while operating nightly fuel deliveries. Looking for a strong communicator who speaks excellent English, is calm under pressure, and can confidently coordinate drivers, monitor vehicles, and respond to issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and monitor fuel trucks operating overnight
• Track vehicles using multi-camera systems (5 cameras per truck)
• Communicate clearly with drivers to manage routes, timing, and issues
• Monitor fueling operations for safety, efficiency, and compliance
• Respond to incidents, delays, or emergencies during overnight shifts
• Maintain accurate logs and operational records
• Coordinate handoff and reporting to day operations team

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Prior dispatch, logistics, fleet, or operations experience preferred
• Comfortable monitoring live vehicle camera feeds
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
• Experience with heavy-duty fleets, fueling, or transportation is a plus
