Required

• Several years of marketing experience in games, entertainment, or consumer tech.
• Strong writing skills for web, email, and social.
• Comfortable planning and running campaigns end-to-end (launches, updates, announcements).
• Able to use tools yourself to ship work quickly (slides, design and video tools, email platforms).
• Familiar with how players and/or game devs discover and talk about new games.
• Comfortable working in a small team where plans change and not everything is defined.

Recommended

• Experience building a game platform, live-service game, or developer-facing product.
• Have worked with creators and communities (X, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Reddit).
• Have set up email marketing flows (welcome series, update announcements, etc.).
• Used to working with designers or editors and giving clear, direct feedback.

Bonus

• You've been an early marketing hire at a startup or helped launch something new.
• You are an expert in design and video editing, to ship your own ideas.
• You've run paid campaigns or A/B tests, or worked on SEO/content.
• You play a lot of games and naturally think about how you'd market them.
• You are lit up by the idea of helping indie developers make a living making games! :)
