Marketing Coordinator – Rival Bros Coffee + Enswell Restaurant

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid may be considered on occasion, but candidates should expect to commute to the city on weekdays)

Rival Bros Coffee is looking for a sharp and creative Marketing Coordinator to support marketing efforts across our coffee brand and sibling restaurant, Enswell. The role blends design, content creation, campaign support, and cross-team coordination. Ideal for someone organized, visually savvy, and fluent in the tools that make modern marketing tick.

Position Details

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Operating Partners, primarily our Chief Marketing Officer

Employment Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Effective Date: TBD, aiming for June or July 2025

Core Responsibilities:

Design & Visual Content

• Create in-house designs for print and digital (menus, flyers, posters, signage)
• Assist with photo/video content and edits for campaigns and product launches
• Edit photos and videos for use across social media, email, and web platforms

Marketing & Communications

• Draft and distribute email campaigns and newsletters (Klaviyo or similar)
• Maintain our social media presence and assist with content calendar execution
• Respond to inbound inquiries through marketing channels
• Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned marketing copy across platforms

Campaign & Brand Support

• Support rollouts for new products, merchandise, and seasonal promotions
• Coordinate with sales, production, and operations teams to keep campaigns moving
• Track performance metrics and share reports to guide strategy

Retail & Wholesale Support

• Maintain updated café signage and marketing collateral
• Assist with sales decks, promotional leave-behinds, and wholesale materials
• Stay informed on industry trends and brand opportunities

Events & Activations

• Develop, plan, and execute events, pop-ups, and promotional activations
• Liaise with vendors, PR partners, and collaborators as needed

Ideal Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of marketing experience or equivalent education
• Creativity is a must—strong visual instincts and original ideas welcome
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)
• Strong visual eye and photography/video skills a must
• Skilled at video editing, short-form storytelling, and social-first content
• Proficient with DSLR cameras and lighting setups
• Familiar with Klaviyo, Shopify, Instagram, and content scheduling tools
• Strong copywriting skills and clear written communication
• Knowledge of all major social media platforms and how to use them strategically
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Proficient in graphic design (print and digital) and able to assist with light web tasks (e.g. Shopify updates, website content edits)
• Comfortable contributing ideas and bringing fresh thinking to campaigns
• Proficiency with Canva is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, sit or stand for extended periods, and work across office and on-site café environments. Reasonable accommodations available.
