Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.
This role is based in Nacogdoches, TX. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do: This position is responsible for supporting plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes and leading continuous improvement /cost out initiatives across the organization. Additional responsibility includes executing the organization's strategic plan consistent with federal, state, and local regulations, established industry standards, and customer requirements.
In this role you will: \n - \n Design & Optimization : Develop and guide optimal cell and flow line layouts focused on safety, productivity, ergonomics, quality, and cost. Maintain standardized work elements and lead process innovation.
\n - \n Safety Leadership : Identify hazards, support remediation, enforce safety standards, and train teams on safety practices.
\n - \n Continuous Improvement : Lead cost-out and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. Drive metrics, visual controls, and accountability through Kaizens and value stream evaluations.
\n - \n Problem Solving : Conduct root cause and failure analyses. Apply and teach critical thinking to improve cost, quality, and performance.
\n - \n Product Development Support : Participate in design reviews and new product development (NPD) to ensure manufacturability. Lead and track PROLaunch deliverables and metrics.
\n - \n Project Management : Lead cross-functional projects, define goals and budgets, align resources, and manage stakeholder communications.
\n - \n Change Management : Drive and sustain process improvements using change management frameworks like ADKAR.
\n - \n Capital Planning : Guide equipment selection and develop Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) for new initiatives.
\n - \n Digital Innovation : Leverage technology to streamline factory floor information flow and eliminate waste.
\n - \n Assessment Participation : Play an active role in manufacturing assessments, potentially as a category lead or champion.

Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: \n - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
\n - One (1) year of engineering experience, including internships.

Preferred Qualifications: \n - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
\n - Experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
\n - Detailed knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques - i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, 5S, Standard work, visual controls, etc.
