Are you a problem solver with a knack for mechanical and electrical systems? We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This permanent role is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical skills and leadership abilities in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art production environment. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, and ensuring the highest standards of maintenance are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to avoid production delays.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with production and quality control departments to prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Manage maintenance budget and ensure the cost-effective use of resources.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers as needed.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Certification in maintenance management or a related field would be an advantage.
