Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment, including coilers, winders, extrusion machines, die cutters, and vacuum forming equipment.
• Assemble packaging materials according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and customer expectations.
• Palletize finished products in an organized and efficient manner for storage and shipment.
• Conduct job setups on extrusion, die cut, and vacuum forming equipment, ensuring proper settings and configurations for each production run.
• Perform material changes on all production equipment as needed to support manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and processes to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups, production runs, and shipping information.
• Demonstrate good housekeeping practices and adhere to safety protocols to create a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor to support the needs of the manufacturing operation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
• Proven experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging or related industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery and process issues effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions, read technical documents, and interpret specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet production deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
• Demonstrated capability to use measurement devices such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
