Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Durham, NC

Pay Range: $16 (up to $18.13 after training)

What's the Job?

• Operate slitter machine to production, waste, and quality standards.
• Take note of malfunctions in the equipment and product, correcting them as needed.
• Properly document, set up and handle raw materials in preparation for the process.
• Prepare, place, and remove paper rolls as necessary for the process.
• Verify that production quantity meets customer needs.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED, college education a plus
• One year of manufacturing or mechanical experience.
• Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to set-up machine and operation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office for logging and documentation.
• Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy record.
