Job Description

Opportunity available for a Machine Learning Engineer . In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize production-level machine learning solutions that directly impact user experience and business outcomes.

You'll contribute to engineering best practices, participate in code reviews, and maintain a clean, well-documented, and testable codebase. At the organizational level, you'll conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and align your work with broader strategic goals to ensure meaningful and scalable outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Local to the Minneapolis area and availability to work onsite (hybrid)
• W2 only - no 3rd parties
• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end machine learning application development, including data pipelines, model training and optimization, deployment, and API integration
• Advanced programming skills in Python and either PySpark or Scala
• Proficiency with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, scikit-learn, ONNX
• Experience with cloud ML platforms such as Vertex AI, Azure ML, or SageMaker
• Familiarity with distributed training frameworks (e.g., Spark, Ray, TensorFlow Distribute)
• Experience with serving frameworks like TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving, or FastAPI
• Solid understanding of Big Data technologies, especially Kafka and Spark
• Skilled in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated model testing and deployment
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers
• Strong communication skills, capable of turning data insights into compelling narratives and visualizations
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience mentoring junior team members in machine learning and career development
• Proven ability to work effectively within global, distributed teams

ITR Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k) for eligible employees. The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $60.00 - $80.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
